Default New HSV spotted ?

Driving back from Melbourne last night stopped at Bordertown at about 9-00pm at a servo in the town.

Carpark was empty apart from 3 guys standing around 2 cars….both cars had quad pipes and were heavily disguised with car bras and black plastic/vinyl all over…..had a bit of look before walking up to the guys…..asked if they were the new HSV’s and was greeted with “maybe….how do you like your GT?”……I go… “its great thanks, lets talk about the new HSV”……these guys weren’t very keen on talking about them so I let it go.

These cars had real big brakes and the wheels were very similar to the black ones on the typhoon…..wanted to take a photo but I really was being watched like a hawk.

Cars were travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide…..1st time I have ever seen a test mule on the road.

Cheers

Brad

With a line like 'how do you like your GT', i had a mental picture of Holden fanatics taking to it with baseball bats!!! I wonder how hard it must be for them to keep such cars 'underwraps', come home from work and not be able to tell your car fanatic mates what you got up to.....

You should have taken a photo. There is nothing they could have done to stop you, short of standing in the way. They might have thought that they were important enough to stop you, but like I said there is nothing they could have done to stop you.....
It would have been good to see.
Cheers.

the new hsv's look amazing, i have seen a few photographs of them.
They have big wheels, big brakes, nice bodykit, and a weird looking brake/ air intake behind the front guard.. very old school style.

That would explain the big cover running right down between the front door and the guard.

Well a bloke who works for Holden came into my work in a VE today. It was an SV6 and it looked awesome. Sounded all good when he started it up too. These things really do look better in the flesh than in the photos. Can't wait to see how much HSV have tricked them out.
