unless you have some serious cash i wouldnt bother.. you have to pay stampduty and freight and get it registered.. its similar to importing a skyline from japan.. unless you get it dirt cheap and know how to do it... your better off going to a car imported and talking to them about it.. and if they would do it

there are also things on the ST's that would have to be changed for australia to allow them to be imported and registered. there would also be alot of checking, not to mention the ford service ppl would have no idea how to service the little beast.

100% you not gonna get it road registered into Oz. Simple reason being that they arn't on the SEVS list. Although if you have a CAMS licence you can get one imported as a race car.

Its got nothing to do with ADR's (Tons of cars get sold new in breach of several)

I'm told that you must have lived overseas for more then 12 months, and owned the car for a substantial amount of time. You must then prove it was used whilst there, and then you can import them here.

Seems like wayyyyyy too much work and $$$.

Your right steven. You can import a car as a personal import if you have lived and owned the car overseas for atleast 12months.

So what I need to do if find someone in the UK that owns a ST that is willing to move to Australia so I can buy it once it gets landed
