World Cup honeymoon is over
An abysmal result. Three months ago they were playing against soccer giants such as Brazil and Italy. Yes I know that the team is missing many of the main players. But c'mon, Kuwait?!?!?! : FF |

I think the 40 degree plus weather might have had something to do with it.....

what about whats-his-face who missed from 3 metres in front of goal? that was abysmal. we played a pretty sloppy match i thought, but the weather would have been a killer for the european based players.

hehe thats why i play and support AFL, but isn't it amazing there's more kids playing soccer than any other country in the southern hemisphere but to get into the world cup, australia has to rely on players from england that are near retirement. go the swans :

Graham Arnold would be a great Assistant coach but not our main coach. If we are going to play above ourselves we need another good tactical coach from abroad.

Houllier is no good imo.
Its no surprise that they lost. I think Fozzie was right, we are back to the bad old days. |

Cheez a lot of you show your true colours when a result goes the other way.
Jeld-Wen how long have you supported djr for ? apart from a couple of decent results lately the back of the grid has been a good hunting ground for them. As much as I am disappointed from the loss it's wasn't meant to be. I admire Fozzie as a commentator but he should have more faith ala Johnny Warren because he spins too many negatives. We have qualified for the Asian games so no big deal.
