Default Speed cameras decomissioned

anyone else notice that the speed cameras on the ring road have been taken down

.. was pretty easy to see that there were no cameras.

Yeah, I noticed last Friday when I went out to Campbellfield. The ones under Pascoe Vale rd west bound are gone... ???

About 4 years ago, when I lived in Mill Park. I commuted to Brooklyn daily and was one of those unlucky one's to be happy snapped for no good reason. 3 times over 4 weeks, for a total of $375 and 3 points. I had all counts reversed and monies refunded. But I waited almost 12 months for my money, and no interest. Imagine if they had to wait 12 months. What a farce. :

S to N bound are taken down... and coming back are also gone, i reckon the r/road is suitable for 110

Just an update on this...

This morning on the drive to work, I noticed that there were workmen installing what appeared to be new cameras in the city bound Western HWY exit of the Ring Road.

Not that you should be speeding anyway....... :P
