Just pulled up at the Servo and did my routine oil check. There were air bubbles in the oil when I checked the dipstick. Is this normal?
I think I read somewhere on this forum that it may indicate a blown head or something like that. Excuse my poor knowledge but I check it everyweek and this is the first time I've noticed the bubbles. I have been driving it hard this week too. Please let me know.

Are you sure its air bubbles, or are the water bubbles!
Air bubbles = nothing to worry about. Water bubbles = something to worry about.

Does the inside of the oil cap look like iced coffee?

Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago, accompanied by a loss of oil pressure, the oil pickup was loose where it joins on the pump.

burst them on your finger, if they're full of water it will be obvious.

A pick-up tube "O" ring out of position or an air leak where the pick-up tube connects to
the pump will cause bubbles in the oil and really should be fixed.
