Today I put all the things that I learnt at the detailing day last week into practice.
Started with washing the car at 7.00am and finally finished at 4.45pm. My arms feel as though they are about to fall off. Luckily I only had to do 2 of the stages by hand otherwise I would still be out there now. Here is the process 1. Wash Car 2. Clay Bar Car 3. Rewash Car and wheels 4. Machine polish car with Menzerna Intensive Polish and Light cut/polish Pad(Green) 5. Machine polish with Menzerna Final Finish Hi Gloss and Soft Polish (Blue) Pad 6. Hand apply Menzerna Sealing Wax 7. Hand apply Dodo Juice Orange Crush Wax. (smells nice) 8. Wax inside door jams 9. Vacuum inside car 10.Dress all plastics inside 11.Dress tyres and wax rims 12.Tomorrow will apply 2nd coat of Dodo Juice wax It may have been a long day and tiresome at times but the end result is absolutely worth it. The car has never looked so good, the pictures do not do it justice. But here they are anyway, just another excuse to post up some more pics of the car. Thanks to Greg (Grum)from Car Care Products for putting me onto the Dodo Juice, it is certainly as good as he says it is. |

It's a bit of hard work but the results speak for them self! You've got to be happy with that - the shine is awesome!
The good news is that the machine polishing isn't going to be needed for at least 6-12 months as the wax will protect the paint perfectly.

Unfortunately not, the AFD is on the same day. It would have been good to catch up with you again. Will have to organise a cruise up that way with the club. I can't even make that as I have a work course to do over the whole weekend : |

That looks amazing Dave, People take special courses for weeks & pay top $$$ to get half the look of your pride, and you learnt that in one course... Now thats what I would call professional. Good job. :thebirds:

So what you are asking is if you have an automatic licence even if it is upgraded to manual automatically can it be upgraded manually by sitting for a manual test and if passed the automatic licence is automatically upgraded but if failed is the automaic licence automatically failed as well and do you have to read the road safety manual to sit for the manual upgrade or does the automatic licence test of the road safety manual automatically cover the manual test as well? |
