I'm planning to move up to queensland pretty soon and are wondering the ins and outs about getting a licence up there... Some questions are...
How long are they on thier Ps? What is thier licencing system like? And what licence in QLD will I get if I'm on my NSW Green Ps? (Back to reds? Or full licence?) Also, I've been caught for a burnout in NSW, will changing my licence still have these demerit points on the QLD Licence? And what are the costs and restrictions of a QLD licence (V8s? Or is this all NSW crap?) I know you're all thinking "Well ring the proper athurity and find out" But it's just past 5 o'clock and I'm just pondering the questions. Cheers. |

cant remember which particular file but 1 of them FACT SHEET: Provisional licence changes i think that is what i's What if I transfer from interstate? If your provisional licence was first issued prior to 1 July 2007, the changes will not affect you, until you renew your licence. However, if you were issued a licence after 1 July 2007, upon transfer to Queensland, the new laws will apply to you. fastinfo@transport.qld.gov.au - email them with your situation. Ive emailed them about 20-30 times very helpful. i prefer email to phone. also attached file i read. Last edited by ler; 25-05-2007 at 08:44 PM. |
