Question Bf Xr8 Coupe????? Wtf!?

gday to all, as i was having a fag during break time at work today i saw this blue xr8 i could only see the front half looked pretty sick i thought nice rims... but as i left work today i had another look... it only had 2 doors! so i slammed on the anchors got out and took a few pics! it was amazing, best job ever as if it cam from the factory like that! has anyone seen or heard of a bf xr8 coupe at all??

that was a good looking job IMO, but i would do a slight roof chop... nothing over the top though

The au coupes (hillier)looked better imo,the ba guards and quarters are too square.

Whilst I don't mind the BA/BF Hybrid coupe mentioned here, the AU was much more suited to look good as a two-door.

it was made by dreamtech in dandenong they make limos and stuff, they where going to make 50 for sale but didn't have enough interest, i think the 100k plus price tag put a few people off too.

yeh thats where i noticed it, i work across the road from dreamtech lol im an apprentice spray painter in volgren.. good fun lol. they also have a stretch hummer its awesome lol

I remember seeing that at the MMS back in 2003. They were offering to do it on XRs and GTs only. I think it was about 30-40K to get done.

It is a excellent machine. But i think that it still doesnt have the wow effect other coupes i seen made before had.


Still its a excellent bit of work.

AFAIK, Dreamtech still makes them. I check out the factory from time to time, always a few in the making. Last time I was there, they had a Toxic XR6T about to go home..
