Just about to fit a leather handbrake to the ute, Ive got the chrome button and Im wondering if I can remove it from the new lever to put it into the existing one.
So before I destroy it, anybody know how to remove the button from the handbrake assembly?

Might be your cheapest option though getting it done by a trimmer ... handle as well.

well if anyone wants this one i have to play with, ill sell it for $40 + post (max $10). The leather is ok is just needs a bloody good clean and even then Im not sure how it would come up. The handle is buggered cos I was messing round with it but the chrome button would be salvagable.

chrome button is just screw in.
pull the old cover off. unscrew. screw the new one on. cover back on. got any pics of the leather handle?
