i got them rolled by a panel beater. He's one of the best5 around though he builds my boss's carrera cup porches so yeah he did a good job. They did scrub a little but mines been lowered nearly 4 inchs in the xr8. its only about 65mm of the ground and the chassis but it even scrubs 235's on the front. If you ask the local tyre guys they might be able to tell you the widest they've fitted

Guards rolled or not, it will scrub, especially on 20's.
Going tyres that wide on the rear would probably cause understeer to.

No worries were all hear to help
If you want to go real wide you might even want to go koni or bilstien shockies so you can firm them right up. Thats if your not worried about the quality of the ride

Having had 20's I used to scrape right on the join of the gaurd and bumper slightly with 255's...
Didn't want to roll the gaurd and grind the bumper edge.
That was one of the reasons I went back to 19's as I wanted a wider tyre like now having 275's. These scrape also under load but on the inside wall just a little, I can live with that as you can't see the marks.
With 20's I'd say you will have troubles, be interesting once you fit them on.

Yeah my front gaurds are cutting into my tyres, and my front bar is starting to crack around the bottom where it scrapes on the bitumen while driving if i hit the slightest bump. But as said it will look fat!!! Mine did. Specially when the slicks were cold and you could skid them and leave the biggest mark!!! haha
