Hi rap,
I put s3 skirts on my s2. I found the first one hard to get on because I had no-idea what I was doing, but the second one was quick. It's hard to explain how to put them on but Im sure someone will be able to tell you. Once I remember exactly how I done it I will let you know. Im not sure how to tell if they are genuine, maybe they are stamped on the back or something like that. |

Not hard to put on. The ends are fixed on by screws and the rest glued on with sikaflex.

i had SR skirts on my wagon. all i did was pull the rubber door seal from the lower section and slide the skirt on. you will need to remove the front mud spats, and replace the trim clips in the door seal with longer ones. genuine skirts should have either Ford or Tickford (or just the symbol) stamped into the underside of the skirt. you should also have little alligator type clips that will clamp the underside of the skirt to the sill of the car.
hope this has helped

Genuine skirts should have a Tickford logo and a part number stamped on the back of them.

I have a set of genuine plastic TE50 skirts in black going up for grabs for a sedan. one of the TE50 badges/stickers has been pulled off, but Id imagine you'de be pulliing them off to paint them anyway unless your cars black.
If I get a good offer I'll sell them, if not, I'll just wack them up on feeBay
