Talking Replaced gear nob

I did this quite a while ago, aswell as replacing the gear boot which in my opinion is the ugliest part of the car.
Anyone else replaced these yet??
The other day i decided to remove the gear nob and gear boot so that i could chop the gear stick down because it was just too long.
I wanted to keep some of the thread so that if i ever needed to put the stocko back on i could.. but it just didnt make that much of a difference chopping so little off ( i left about 1 cm of thread).
I ended up chopping around and inch and a half off in total, thus getting rid of all the threaded section. its ALOT nicer now. :P
Will get pics in a couple days,
If anyone else has done this post up a couple pics.

Mitch

Yeah I did a similar thing to mine, but instead of cutting off all the thread, I bored the inside of the gearknob out so it sat lower, and can still put on the stock piece later if required.

Nice looking gearknob there tho, I like it.
