Default xr8 ute suspension

Can anyone pass me to a thread regarding bettering an xr8 ute suspension eg. stiffening and stopping body roll or give advice on what may help?
I am running a carryboy canopy on my work ute and full of tools. It hangs too low at the back and too high at the front and feels like I am sailing the QE2 when taking corners. Absolutely love driving a manual v8 ute for work but want to make it handle! Help!
