Default Goodbye OiNK

For those who haven't heard yet, OiNK.cd is no more.

Wave the pig goodbye.

The only money he got was from donations which were completely optional, not quite what some articles are saying.

Which was still making money?

"Hey guys, I'm doing something illegal and stealing from artists, how about you give me some money!"

Cannot complain with this outcome.

Unfortunate, but people take risks and if caught, consequences may be dire.

On a related and humourous note, the (International Federation of the Pornographic Industry (the ones who shut OiNK down), or IFPI for short had their domain camped and taken by the International Federation of Pirate Interests, or IFPI for short, who are claimed to be the largest bittorent tracker (and thus enemies of original IFPI) on the internet.

OiNK was good, but there are easier methods to get music for the lazy man, or rather Australian with horrible upload speeds, to get music that don't require you to keep up a ratio.

I loved OiNK :( Was on there for over 2 years! There's always alternatives anyhow but the quality and selection on OiNK was awesome!

I hear from mates who were also OiNK members that there are plans to resurrect it from backups. Ratios and all. Keep an ear to the ground.
