Default Transmisson goes BOOM !

Was Driving to the GF's Last night and put the boot into the , and with no joy , started flaring and going nowhere ...

So i Pulled over and restarted the car .. Same issues so i limped it back home .. and took it to the Auto Trans Joint ,

Now knowing what i didnt earlier , the Internals of the box are Completely Melted , and Now it only has 1st , 2cnd and Reverse.

New Box is going in soon , but when it happened last night , it let off a massive bang .,.

Not good !

Daniel

Because a manual gearbox wouldn't last 20 minutes the way he drives! I'm surprised it wasnt the diff that exploded!

You must stick it to the poor thing everyday to do that. Auto FTL aswell, I thought it was mandatory to go manual if you kill an auto.
