Default A sad day has finally come...

Wel today it became official that I'll be trading my AUII in, picking up a brand new BFII Xr6 on Wednesday. Brings to and end of 6 happy but sometimes stressful years of AU life. But having been offered a trade in of 11500, I'm pretty happy with that. Seems all the countless hours of detailing, polishing and Saturday mornings of systematic washing no matter how severe the hangover have paid off.

Id guess that I might set a record for 07 trade in value for a 2000 model forte ($11500), but methinks all the people who said all the costly mods wouldnt benefit me in the future were wrong!!!!

But there aren't plans to leave the XR6 standard for too long either ;)

Even though I won't be leaving the forums, I guess I won't spend as much time in the AU forum as in the past, so I'll take the opportunity to say thanks to everyone thats ever given me advice, help and helped defuse the sometimes stressful times of AU ownership. I hope Ive also been able to help some of you guys in some way too lol

Tears will probly flow on Wednesday when the keys leave my pocket for the final time but AU's will always be one of the greatest falcons in history to me.
