Default service spanner

my 2001 ford falcon futura has 212000 km on the clock. what i am wanting to know does my service spanner still come on when a service is due with mileage like mine as i need to have my car services and oil changed every 5000km for warranty purposes. can i change the service spanner to come on at every 5000km or what? any help be appreciated as i not long bougt ths car.

turn key to acc and hold the trip button down for 10 secs , gets rid of it

I thought only series 1 au's had the service spanner reminder thing. Either way if its ment to come on it will no matter how many kays the car has done but the intervals which it is displayed can't be changed.

Stockoau is correct. Only S1 AUs had this icon. It's a leftover from the E series era!

yes they removed the service spanner in the S2 only late E series and AU 1 had this feature ( common sense prevailed)
