Hi guys,
I have a AU Series II Falcon Just wondering if anyone knows about the F A L C O N spelt on the rear boot garnish. Mine has faded and was wondering if there are stickers available or do I have to get it repainted. It looks like it used to be silver at some stage. |

If your lettering is also recessed all you have to do is clean the old lettering with Prepsol or similar, get some paint and a small paintbrush and paint the letters. Don't be concerned about getting excess paint on the non-recessed surface as it can be wiped off with turps or thinners or even polished off if it dries. |

I was down at the shops this morning and noticed on a Forte that the garnish is painted the same colour as the car (on my Fairmont the garnish is chromed) so I would not be doing it my way on a painted garnish. A careful repaint with a touch up pen would probably be as good as any. Apologies for confusion. |
