Ok, i have an au series 1 with mods etc. currently producing 170rwkw's very lean, previously everything else (mod wise) was in a XF producing 219rwkw's on lpg with a power plus typhoon manifold. But the AU has a stuffed maf, and i need a tune and im thinking why not just stick the lpg setup i had in xf on it. What do you guys reckon? Or should i just shall out for a maf and tune?
I should mention that i would still have to convert car to lpg to do this, so cost is probably about the same. Last edited by 5.0 ED; 09-04-2008 at 12:44 AM. Reason: more info |

I'd get the petrol side of things fixed properly, and then convert to dual fuel anyway.

Its a hard decision. It depends on your budget.

I just don't like the idea of being caught short with gas only. All the best with your decision. GK

Thanks for you input, but im more thinking that i drill fit injectors into typhoon manifold and i have to put a tps on anyway for the auto, so it would still run on petrol.

if your after bhp increase comp to 11.5:1 on straight gas.
or duell fuel as per usuall..a maf can be had for under a hundred at a wreaker. or for free at sims metal before its screaded.

yeah but its a little hard to get my comp from 9.6 to 11.5 without replacing pistons. i've already deck 40thou off heads to get 9.6. i'd love to get it up to 11.
