Default 2008 Street Fords Drag Nationals Sep/13/2008@HPR (Now A 2 Day Event)

Hi Guys & Girls,

Street Fords and Xtreme Fords magazines are proud to announce the coming of the 2008 Ford Drag Nationals

WHEN: Saturday September 13, 2008.

WHERE: Heathcote Park Raceway

This will be largely the same as last year's event in that it is a bracket-style drag meet split up into five time based brackets.

We're working hard to secure sponsors for all five brackets with a host of top prizes and even some cash prizes as well.

Street Fords will be putting up $2000 in prize money and trophies and in addition we've already secured over $7500 worth of cash-prizes with more to be announced.

If your company would like to sponsor a bracket or trophy contact me for the details.

The folks at Heathcote tell us that the very cool FireStorm jet-powered van will be putting on a display for us on the day and there'll be trade stands, burnouts and all amenities available throughout the event.

The Street Fords-Xtreme Fords crew will be there with a trade stand and to capture all the action on camera.

There will also be a show a shine open to all Fords.

I will be bringing the 575hp 393 Clevo powered Falcon GT known as Project XW from the Xtreme Fords Magazine stable for a blast over the quarter mile.

We'll announce more as we confirm it and entry forms will be available very soon, so stay tuned for plenty more action!

So book yourselves in for this awesome event thats not to be missed and keep checking back to either this thread or the one on our Street Fords forum for all the latest

Cheers,

Roy

Dont miss the boat!

Everyone we have two Ford press vehicles that we are going to drive down to Heathcote for the day and even punt them on the quarter!

A 315kw Super Pursuit Ute and a 290kw XR8!

A massive rush of entries in the last two days is going to make this an event not to miss, so make sure you get out there to either compete or even just watch!

Weather forecast is on our side with a beautiful 23 deg and sunny day on the cards.

Entries are allowed on the saturday too!

See you there!

Cheers,

Roy
