Default How much could I get for a 1998 vt ss?

I have acquired a 1998 vt ss, being that im on my p plates I cant drive the damn thing; so now I have to sell it... I have asked on a few holden forums but most of those people just tell me to de-badge it (not worth the risk)

So, here goes:
1998 vt ss
5.0l v8
170,000 on the clock
1 owner, 2 including me
raven blue/black
immaculate condition
tinted windows
12 months rego

This isnt an advertisement, just trying to find some price points for when I do plan to start doing so.

How did you acquire it? Is it auto or manual? I'd think about 14-16k.

It's a Vt. more like $8-9k.

To the OP - how much did you pay foir it? That should give you some indication of what it's worth.

I think less, a friend of mine bought a VX SS with less k's for $14,000 (not sure on its condition) I would be suggesting around $10,000, but its all up to the buyer find someone that really wants it and they will pay more

Not many want the VT shape in 5.0 form. Personally I thought they were a sweet sounding smooth motor and had plenty of get up and go. The series 2 VT SS's with the first of the 5.7lts came with loads of problems and were very restricted from factory stock. It's sounds like alot of car for approx $7-8k IMO. Being a Ford bloke, I would prefer with a EF or EL XR8.

Looking at your other posts i think it is an advertisement and this is not the for sale section.
