Hey fella's,
Just a couple of quick questions. I'm doing a cashy for a mate at work on his ex taxi au1, he said it had a knock in it when ever you would turn sharp and some times just driving along, so i jacked it up and noticed the lower ball joints had a fair bit of play in them so i'm pretty sure thats the knocking, my question is, is it pretty straight forward to change these lower ball joints or do you need a special tool or something? Also this car has an awesome loud squeak you can hear from blocks away coming from the front suspension, doesn't matter whether your going straight or turning, on the spot wiggling the steering wheel or moving, it just squeaks. Any suggestions, my money is on the front struts but not 100%. Is this a common problem like it was to older school cars? Any info would be great, thanks heaps fella's. Benny Mac
