i believe stav bought somthing about this up not to long ago..
someone is building stroker kits for the 4L to stroke it to 4.9 i believe... best do a search or search stav's post's..

I think it was Joe at Crescent Motorsport who was doing the kit. I could be wrong though.

Its already a long stroke motor though. I'd be much more interested if they de-stroked increased the bore and revved it out to 7500-8000 rpm.

Suggest you read the thread then. It's not a stroker, the capacity increase is achieved by boring out into the water jacket and wet sleeving.
You could take it in that direction by fitting a 3.2 crank and suitable rods perhaps.
