Ok so a Roo smashed my front bumper, does anyone know how much it costs for a genuine XR bumper? I bought it to the wreckers and they reckon 1600 for a new bumper unpainted....
I was thinking about buying an XR50 fibreglass replacement... The prices range between 600-700 unpainted the AWC and SSV websites.... Any thoughts good/bad i dont mind..... Cheers |

if you look around you would probably find a good second hander for under 6-700. Fibreglass aint my favorite, especially on the front.

I'm a teenage P plater with an AU XR8.... I have to cover the first $1700 in excess of any damages....It was either pay 2k to insure this way, or pay 6k premium.... So being a 19 year old on Trainee wages i picked the cheapest option..... Theres no point in claiming insurance since they dont cover the first 1700, and if i get fibre glass, the panel beater guy here is mates with my dad and he can paint and fit for 500 bucks.... So yeh anyone got experience with fibreglass? |

yeah i'd keep hunting all the wreckers and 2nd hand market until i found one for the right price.
also, your front bar is probably going to cost you as much as my whole car when i was 19!
