hi just out of curiosity i've got an early series 1 au with the smartlock system on it, i was wondering if the series 2 keypad will work on it or not, don't think it will but worth a shot, if not does any one know if the jaguar x-type flick key will work as the actual key part is the same as mine.

No and AU2 keypad will not work.
As for the key, with smartlock, it could work, provided you can get it cut the same.
