Default fiesta diesel

Anybody have the latest on when the diesel fiesta will arrive?

Are they on the boat?

I doubt that they'd be on the ships yet. Ford originally indicated that it would be in the last quarter of this year. The latest reports say November...

"Ford is readying another fuel economy push for the November launch of the super-efficient ECOnetic Fiesta, which it claims uses less fuel than the hybrid Prius."

I did a fairly detailed post in another topic about the Fiesta Econetic. Third quarter 2009, comes as per the Euro spec but with a few more features. Comes with gripless low-rolling-resistance tyres. Will start at about 25,000 but have less kit than the Zetec. Pass. Bring a diesel option on the Zetec with 17's and call it Titanium and have Rain Sensing Wipers, leather, Ford Power, etc.
