Default Orignal spark plugs

I've just brought my self a 2001 AU2 SR. It has a set of Denso iridium spark plugs in it. Just wondering if they could be the original plugs or if ther've been replaced

Regards
Rev

you're right mate, happens to the best of us.
Ford didn't ship the AU2 with iridiums so they've been replaced as some stage as you say.

Funny story about that. I serviced mums AU III Fairmont last weekend, and found Denso Iridiums in there.. the centre electrode had burnt away completely, leaving a spark gap of about 3-4mm. No wonder it had been running rough. I couldnt beleive it, I've never seen plugs that burnt.
