Hey all, I realise this isnt the right section, but I am in DESPERATE need for a set of 3v headers.
I have called every wrecker in Vic but no one has any. If anyone has any, or knows of someone or somewhere I can get some from TODAY - 01 Oct 09, please call me on 0400 590 184, in the Melb area. Thanks! |

Pretty rare part mate...Can't imagine there would be too many 3Vs being wrecked out there.
Only option as I see it, would be to buy some aftermarket headers or contact site sponsor FTG Autosalvage...

I am doing a trade with punkutred for his D/F big boy system. When the blokes at BPR went to remove my exhaust for the switch they noticed my LHS header was bent, means it can be exchanged, means no D/F exhaust for me!
Ive tried FTG, but no luck, no one has any engine gear for them. |

Maybe call some tuning shops, what happens when people upgrade their systems?

between the O2 sensor and cat it has bent and twisted upwards. No idea how, but it has happened.
3v are pretty rare, as such, is damn freaking impossible to get anything for them second hand. Could be fixed, but the fellas at BPR arent sure how well it will turn out |

When did they tell you it was bent? While they were still in the car or after they yanked them out? ;)

When it was on the ute, they could see that it was bent. They called me about 30-45mins after I dropped it off.

Ployal may have the best idea, you might strike it lucky. Most places would just toss the factory headers in the recyclling after an upgrade though.
Cant even find a wrecked Fairlane anywhere? Must be a few out there somewhere. Hate to think it but you might have to get newys.
