Smile au III camshaft

i have a series 1 xr8 just wondering if the cam shaft is the same as an au III and if im expected to gain any power from it, can any one help

The 200kw cam is biger than than 220 cam this was done to smoth the idle out on the 220s

Nup, all series XR's had different cams, IIRC the series 2 200kw motor has the 'biggest' one.

If you are asking will you gain power by putting a 220 cam into a series 1 the answer is 'maybe but there's heaps of better choices available to you'.
