Work Xperience - Apprenticeship - SAT??

anybody on here found that doing work experience for a day a week(or more) helps in securing an SAT. im currrently doing work experience at an auto body repair shop and wanting to know if u guys/girls have gone from experience to an apprenticeship or if the employer has just been looking for cheap(free) labour for a couple of weeks. the employer today asked me if i could do 2 days a week of experience for the next 2 weeks to which im not sure if im just being used for free labour.????

Well, I guess it would be worth doing if you are guaranteed an apprenticeship. But he might just think you're a sucker and milk you dry. Who knows what employers are thinking these days.
