Wondering if anyone got caught out or was a part of an April Fools joke this year.
One of our girls rang the boss and said she was from the ATO. Boss freaked out and believed her. Should've seen her face. Was Vixen Red in colour.

Radio Station in Sydney, announced in the news that the NSW RTA had announced that all drivers in NSW, over the age of 60, would need to display a "M" plate on their car.
Drivers over 70, had to display an "O" plate

We did one at work on a livemeet (phone hookup with powerpoint on computer) with a bunch of Qualified medical assessors, and told them a new feature we were introducing was a personality test (Five factor model, Myer Briggs etc, including links off to twitter facebook, credit card checks etc) - when we announced that it was April fools, we had some hang up by mistake - apparently they were laughing so hard they hung up instead of muteing their phone so we couldn't hear them laughing! We got them back eventually. The whole thing went down well, and made an otherwise standard phone conference highly entertaining and very useful!
Well, it was funny to us!!

Most of us have a love / hate relationship with our cars, this last week I've got super annoyed and over my current car, looked at a few others (Including JC's xr8) however finally had to settle with "what I've got will do for now".
My other half got me well and truly, this is the exact text message I got when I turned up to work: "Hi. I kinda have something to tell u...i put the v8 up for sale on the net to see if u really could sell it. Someone helped me with all the details & i just used the pics you've sent me on my phone. Anyways a dude is interested & wants to come see it 2moro morning. What do u think? i hope you're not mad, just the other night u really didn't seem to want it so i thought i'd help. U do so much for me, i thought id suprise u & just try to sell it" I rang her straight away and asked two things: 1. WHAT THE HELL?! 2. How much?! She then told me she offered it for $9 grand (most sell for $12 - 15 at the moment)..... before a long drawn out silence...... then BAM! "APRIL FOOLS BABEH!" *grumbles* |

Was up the Scummy Coast over the weekend and the radio station had made a report that there was a 6 foot brown croc released into the river near the Sunshine Plaza. People were warned that they are fast and can jump... Turns out some smart person had lined up 6 of those brown croc shoes...

Me and a mate contributed to an April Fools joke. We decided that since we knew from many camping trips that he can start his 60 series cruiser with a screw driver, we could give it a try while he was in a Lecture at uni.
So we pulled the drivers side window down (winder is broken) and hoped in and started her. We decided to move it to another car park on the Western Campus and waited for him to finish and watch him freak out. He walked out with a few of our other mates and walked into the car park and just froze. Then turned around and launch himself sprinting back into uni. Off course we started pyssing ourselves laughing, and then tried to give him a ring, but off course, no answer. So we thought of places he might be, and thought he might have run back to my place which is close to uni. So we drove back there and waited for him. Then we get a call saying "Where the golly gosh have you vagina's put my car", we told him where it was and said he checked there, but that he would go and have a look again and ring us back. Phone rings and its apparently not there. Back in the Pajero at warp speed, thinking we have gotten his car actually stolen, and there he is in the car park, looking very impressed. We get out, and get the "you blokes are mongrels, don't expect a beer from me at the bar ever again...etc etc" Our dacks are packed when he bursts into laughter. He'd known we ****** with it, and obviously called us hoping he was right, getting us to give it away. Gone and found it, moved it again, and proceeded to **** with us. He did well i reckon. That my story anyway, keep them coming.
