Personally I think its looks not too bad and will give the Mondeo and Mazda 6 some grief I think.

Cruise replacement? Sorry not up with current Holden events.
Doesn't look too bad. I'm sure it wil sell like hotcakes since it has the Lion badge.

Why do Holden always give their cars such dumb names? "Mazda 3" is nice and succinct, but Malibu just reminds me of that coconut flavoured rum. And why exactly are they selling this car? Don't they already have the Cruze for this segment? Even if it is a fraction bigger than Cruze, if buyers wanted a bigger car they would probably go for the Commo.

It is not in the same segment as the Cruze. That would be like saying the Focus and Mondeo are in the same segment. |

Hopefully it sells well. |

Half the Aussie one will probably end up with Chev badges anyway. They might as well sell them with the Chevy badge. |

Barring the grille, I think it looks pretty good.
Holden will have some more commercials with that female voice saying how great it is though, and the Australian media (who just changed their undies when the "Australian" Cruze was formally released) will soil another pair over this... People will flock in unison. I think the Cruze looks terrible, but people have flocked towards it like hell...

Classic comments as usual. If the Holden fas are flocking to it like hell, does that mean our crowd are heaven bound, on the harder and narrower Ford road? LOL! Couldn't resist the analogy! BTW, from the b pillar back, it looks like a VE Calais. GK

Is it just me or does it look a lot like a Taurus in the body. Very similar bar the grille and lights.

I used to see a few Chev Malibus getting around Qatar, good looking car. Very Mondeo size-ish. Those are '11 ones though, but same sort of get up.
