Is it out of gear?

If it is out of gear, Try moving the shifter from P to N, then see if it will crank.. Just run it quickly from P to 1 then back again.. then try starting it in P and N

If that works, then it's your inhibitor switch.. Cheap and easy part to replace..

Since the conversion, is it now only able to run on gas...
If so, does it automatically switch to petrol for starting...

If you can switch to petrol, do so and try that...

Cheers...

got fuel in it? not uncommon for people to overlook stuff, i had a lady once ask for help with a flat battery, after dragging a booster battery and jumper leads 200 metres to her car, the woman had forgotten to put the tbar into park
