Hey people

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what diffs are compatible with an AU ute.

will wagon diffs fit? are there different handbrake setups out there? different tailshafts setups?

BA Utes and Wagons up to 10/2005 use the same housing so I can't see why you couldn't use a BA Wagon or Ute diff or an AU wagon diff assy.

What he said, but the handbrake mounting points are slightly different from wagon to ute, and maybe even from AU to BA.
It's only slight though and extremely easy to overcome.

I can tell you that I put an LSD from a ute into my wagon originally and everything bolted straight in. If there was a difference I couldn't see it. This was an AU diff into an AU wagon though. Apart from the handbrake set up on newer models everything else will still bolt up without any problems.

You're right, the difference is not between wagon and sedan, rather AU to BA. I'm confusing myself.
The difference is where the handbrake brackets are mounted.
