Hey everyone!
This has probably been done before... but I thought I;d ask you all, what's your favourite cars and why do you like them? If it's too hard to choose post them all! I'll post mine up as soon as I get all of them in order (very hard decision.) |

I don't know what you mean by favourite car?
Do you mean favourite car people have owned or the car they would most like to own? Anyway, I love 1967 HRs - have one sitting in the garage gathering dust and I'd love to have an XB Falcon - coupe or fourdoor doesn't bother me too much as long as its a 302 or 351, 4 speed and has WIDE wheels I'd be happy.

Any old Jags or BMWs.
Had a soft spot for Land Rovers ever since my parents got themselves one each over in the GCC.

If it's got a body and three (ancient Morgans, Reliant Robins, etc...) or four wheels, I like it.
Seriously though, early Valiant Charger with a 265 Hemi. |

Thats an impossible choice for me haha.
Absolutley love the XA/B/C's. Sedan, coupe or wagon. and love the XD/E/F Fairmont wagons. TE50's. TS50's. TL50's. Then the F250 dual cab v8 diesel. The latest F150 that the americans have. SVT Raptor! Toyota Sprinter Trueno, fully loaded. Audi S8 and R8. Saab 93. That BA RTV Wagon some guy built. And of course the mini F150, the Courier

Too many to mention, but if I had to narrow it down to just ONE car. One car that I would want above all others......a 1957 Chev Bel Air.
I love my Holdens, but no Holden (Well maybe a HK GTS) is as cool as a 57 Bel Air. |

Such a hard choice to name because there is just so many! A definite favourite is the Z32 300ZX, really love front end styling and the low ride.
CarsAreMyLife, still waiting for your list!

People loving their exotic cars. Put me down for any muscle car with a V8 that'll shake the ground.

Okay.. my list... gulp. I am so obsessed with cars (literally, just about everything I ever do involves the things) that choosing one car is as impossible as me going to visit Mars for the day and returning tonight. I have so many cars that I love, so I'm going to give you all a list of cars that I like, and why I like them. Some of them you won't agree are cool, but I don't care.
I do tend to prefer Fords to Holdens, but then I grew/growing up with Falcons (EA GLi Wagon [Dad got $200 for it when he traded it in for the BAII], AUII Futura wagon, BAII XT sedan). You've all chosen some pretty nice cars! Prof, when I say favourite car, I meant anything, a car you own/owned, or just a car you would like to have. Anything. 87 XF - AU11, good choice Haha. Our AUII Futura is definitely a favourite with me... even though many people think it's ugly... I like it ;) Okay... my list... I doubt I'll remember all the cars that are favourites.... there's just too many, so I'll post as many as I remember. They aren't in any particular order, I like them all equally for their different reasons. Bugatti Veyron 16.4 SuperSport Edition, Okay that's enough pics Now, I'm sure some of you will reply to this and tell me "it's ugly"... but I actually do like the styling. And the technology used in it is amazing. Over 1200 hp, 1500 nm of torque, and 0-100 in 2.5 seconds (same as the old Bug, but once you get past that, everything is faster, louder, and better!) It's extremely fast, still has the luxuries like air-con and a CD player, sounds awesome (love the start up sound!) and is easy to drive at any speed! Quiet at low speeds in town, and has a boot. It does weigh a bit... and it's VERY expensive... but to me it'll always be a legend, but it does make me wonder, what on earth is the next Bugatti going to be capable of! Next car... I won't post as many pics this time haha. 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarittz Convertible This is a car that almost everyone should agree is cool. It's huge! And I think it looks amazing! It doesn't handle well, and isn't particularly fast. But it's luxurious and certainly stands out from the crowd. I'd love to own one one day... but theres a lot of cars I'd like to own... 48 Flxible Clipper bus An unusal choice... but I REALLY like these. If I ever had the chance to buy one.. I would convert it to an ultra luxury motorhome. I would kind of use a retro theme, combining modern styling with old. I would have a theme on the exterior of red and white. I would have parts of the body white, and other areas a really nice metallic red, a bit like the Flxible in RV:Runaway Vacation the movie. That'd be fantastic... but then, it may stay a dream, but it would be nice for it to become a reality. Ford F-150 SVT 6.2L V8 Raptor Supercrew These are awesome! If anyone doesn't know what they are, search Ford Raptor on youtube. This truck is built to go 100 mph on desert tracks and over jumps. The suspension is absolutely amazing. It can handle some very rough treatment at very high speed, and the sound from the 6.2L V8 is mean! 2004 Ford F250 XLT 7.3L V8 diesel crew cab My uncle owns one of these on his farm in the wheatbelt of WA. I've driven it a couple of times on the farm. I love the sounds of the engine and it's massive! I like the way it looks too. and it's tough as... he's his big roos at night at 110 km/h and only managed to get some fur stuck to the numberplate (not sure how he managed it, but I remember looking at it and seeing some fur and then asking him what happend lol) His is almost identical to the one above, only he has a colour coded bar. There's plenty more cars... I'll post again later, I'll go and write them all down and then come back... |

Thanks to Test Drive 2: The Duel on the Commodore 64, always been the Porsche 959. If not that, the F40...
Realistically, a GT-E would be nice too (or a Force 8...either way is cool)

Yeah, this topic has been done before or similar has been discussed, but it's XA-XC for me. The smell of the vinyl, the lines, the feel and the sound. Everything about them was spot on. |
