Hey guys,
Whats the easiest way to get a T56 behind a 351c? Are there bellhousings/adaptor plates? Who produces them? |

Why?...
But IF you manage to get it done, you will need to engineer it. |

It's an old school engine, it belongs in an old school car imo. But hey your money, your time, you do what you like. EDIT: I see you changed the title of the thread and the first post. Good one champ. Had second thoughts about putting the clevo in a BA did ya? |

Um think he wants a 6 speed manual behind his clevo in his old school car mate not the other way around. LOL
But yes it can be done. I would be asking mal wood about it. Pretty sure I have seen an xa coupe with a t56 somewhere before.

Yes I am thinking about putting a 351c into a BA falcon. Why you ask? Because I have a $10K motor and the chance to buy a $1k BA falcon. I changed the thread and title because I thought of a better question and didnt realise people had already replied to this one... |

Even on straight gas a Clevo wouldnt pass emissions to BA spec.
The later emissions are different again and just going to straight gas doesnt cut it. |

You won't believe how many people told me I couldn't put a 351c into a GQ patrol, but I spoke to engineers and I did.
Now I'm not saying i can put a 351c into a BA, but until a Engineer tells me that I can't I am of the opinion that i can. I'll speak to an engineer and get back to you Last edited by 351ciofgrunt; 03-09-2011 at 08:51 AM. |

Tremec into a small block Ford would be the same as any small block Ford TMK the bolt patern is the same...
Emissions would prevent a Clevo as it is with carb etc being legal in a B.A...

Its easy to put a Clevo into a patrol.
The patrol is a totally different set of emissions standards to a BA. My 90 model Maverick didnt even come with a cat convertor from factory. I put a EFI Windsor in my Maverick back when everyone said it couldnt be done. |
