Sorry to hear of the loss of your father.
Time will make it easier, but the pain is still there. We lost my mum 5 months ago, and I miss her every day. Spend as much time with your family now, as this is when you need each other the most. |

Condolences to you and your family mate.
We had a recent scare when my dad went in to have brain surgery to drain some bleeding he'd had as the result of a recent fall...just makes you realise how important family is, and that family ALWAYS comes first.

My condolences to you and your family.
Personally I lost mine 12 years ago. The only consoling thing for me personally, was one of my sons was born a few weeks later, so he was named in honor of my Dad.

As much as this prob sounds a bit offputting, don't mourn his death, celebrate the life you shared, and live strong in the knowledge that he helped mold you into the person you are today.
They say that the passing of time, makes it easier, or the pain less. Rather then saying it makes it easier, I'll instead say that it gives you time to work out things in your head as to how to accept him not being around. For me, my own old man is still around, if not in body, at least in the way that I conduct myself, in how I deal with others. This often gets me into a 'degree' of troubles, but I wouldn't change it for one second. I'm proud of the man I believe my old man wanted me to become. One day when next, we speak again, I hope that the reverse holds true. |

I always find it hard when you lose family and friends but, I feel blessed that I knew them and we shared simple but the best of times together. It is not necessary to always be doing amazing things with people, just being together can be the best of times...
Take care and remember the times you spent together... |

I am so sorry to hear mate.
I can only imagine how you're feeling. I lost both my Grandfathers' this year, within 6 months of eachother. After my father's dad's funeral, I saw the hurt in his eyes. I could feel it. Nine months on, I can still see the hurt, but slowly, it's easing. What Dad said to me when I asked him how he was feeling a few months ago was.. "We don't feel sad because they have passed, we mourn for us because we can not see them, or talk to them, or laugh with them. As time passes we realise that we can still do all that, albeit in our hearts and minds and the hurt eases. If that person never leaves your heart or mind, the they never truly leave" I know that that is getting my Dad through it. My deepest condolences mate. Kris
