Go into any transport office with your license and ask for a traffic history for the last whatever. 3 years will show how many points you have acquired, 10 years will show you what a naughty boy you are.
Warning though, if you are over 12 they will take it. And although it is a bit pedantic, you actually gain points by infractions not lose them so if you have 0 you are a goody, 11 you are a baddy and more than that you are a pedestrian |

In Qld as a truck driver I pay about $20 to see where my points are up to-by visiting a Queensland Transport Office. I am not sure if car drivers have to pay for the printout but I suspect they do!

depends which state your in... vic i know you can order it online from the vicroads website, costs around $8 or so...
if there's a driving matter going to court, depending on what it's for, I doubt whether the magistrate will hold your driving history in much regard - they're really only interested in the matter your currently there for, what the police prosectuor has to say and what your explaination for doing what you did...depends if your gonna plead or not... if you plead, then only the summary of charges gets read out n they decide on a penalty... if you plead not guilty, then depending on whats happened, if they find you guilty, prepared to get reamed.. |

Just went into the Townsville office the other day to renew my licence and i asked them as i did that. So I'm pretty sure just go in and ask. Thats if you want to wait 45mins at a time.

i think that you have to pay for a print out but if you real nice to the person serving you they might check on the computer and just tell you the result, depends on who you get behind the counter and what sort of day they have had.

In 2010, I was involved in a big hoon case here in Melbourne, 26 people faced court for things that happened in one night. Got off lightly because of my solicitor. Basically anyone that represented them self or had legal aid got around 12 months suspension. Because of my solicitor I got only 2 months, and the only reason I got that is because of media in the back of the court. Everyone had similar charges to my self. I did not fight it, the police did say I did not have a similar offence before. The solicitor will do all this for you. |

Im not looking @ a suspention but a fine of 800 -1200 .I did think about having a solicitor but then they would charge me about that in fees,so im kinda in a no win situation, just cop it on the chin and learn from my mistake
magistrates hate's the most. If you represent your self, you will get a harsh penalty.
