Ive had my xr6 for a few years now and the interior (especially drivers seat) has started to show abit of its age. Ive had a look around on ebay and the internet and found a few adds like this:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-FALC...item41667fec45 i was wondering if anyone would know the costs of getting something like this fitted properly to the seats or whether it would be cheaper or better to get a re-trim done complete at a trimmer rather then buy off one store and get another to fit them? |

I went with this
http://www.thewetseat.com/pages/price-guide.html Mind you I have a standard AUII (no leather) so they look good (and are easy to wash http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...1238536&page=6 Uk

Hey LoudXR6,
I got a set of leathers from the very same seller. From the looks a very nice product. Check my build thread for a couple of pics (post #21). Quoted at a number of different places at $400-$500 for fitting. Decided after much deliberation that I would do it myself, but still havent gotten around to it. It's been 6 months hahaha and still haven't put them in yet, but when I do, will post the results for all to see. Cheers Chris

The AU using hog rings to fix the trim to the foam pad. You will need a manual hog ring gun and hog rings to do the retrim yourself.

Kudos for keeping it all OE!
I've found cable ties to be easier / quicker to use. At least there are options for the masses :-) |
