Holden has launched the special edition Holden Commodore Z-Series pack across the range of VE body styles, combining luxury and sports features with added value.
The special edition Holden Commodore Z-Series pack covers sedans, Sportwagons and utes, as well as the sports-oriented SV6, SS and SSV model variants. All Holden Commodore Z-Series sedans and Sportwagons receive front foglights, rear park assist, rear view camera, leather seats, chrome door frame trim (sedan only), Z-Series carpet mats and badges, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Commodore SV6 and SS Z-Series sedan and Sportwagons gain bolstered leather seats and 19-inch alloy wheels (LPG versions of the SV6 retain the current 18-inch wheels), while SSVs add front Brembo brakes, sports suspension and a sunroof (sedan only). Special edition Z-Series utes in SV6 and SS variants miss out on rear park assist and rear view camera. Joining the release of the special edition Z-Series is the introduction of a new deep purple colour to the VE and WM range dubbed Alchemy. The new colour replaces Mirage Glow in the Holden palette. Holden Z-Series manufacturers list price: Holden Commodore Z-Series Sedan (petrol) $37,990 Holden Commodore Z-Series Sedan (LPG) $40,490 Holden Commodore Z-Series Sportwagon (petrol) $39,990 Holden Commodore Z-Series Sportwagon (LPG) $42,490 Holden Commodore SV6 Z-Series Sedan (petrol) $42,790 (manual)/$43,790 (auto) Holden Commodore SV6 Z-Series Sedan (LPG) $46,290 (auto) Holden Commodore SV6 Z-Series Sportwagon (petrol) $45,790 (auto) Holden Commodore SV6 Z-Series Sportwagon (LPG) $48,290 (auto) Holden Commodore SV6 Z-Series Utility (petrol) $38,490 (manual)/$39,490 (auto) Holden Commodore SV6 Z-Series Utility (LPG) $41,990 (auto) Holden Commodore SS Z-Series Sedan (petrol) $47,790 (manual)/$49,790 (auto) Holden Commodore SS Z-Series Sportwagon (petrol) $49,790 (manual)/$51,790 (auto) Holden Commodore SS Z-Series Utility (petrol) $42,490 (manual)/$44,490 (auto) Holden Commodore SSV Z-Series Sedan (petrol) $55,290 (manual)/$57,290 (auto) Holden Commodore SSV Z-Series Sportwagon (petrol) $57,290 (manual)/$59,290 (auto) Holden Commodore SSV Z-Series Utility (petrol) $47,490 (manual)/$49,490 (auto) http://www.caradvice.com.au/189387/h...pack-released/

Should have called it the ZZZZZZZZ pack... boring as...all the special editions in the world ain't gonna hide the fact that it looks almost identical to an '06 model.
I like that colour purple though, I must admit.

The VE is really showing it's age now. I guess all these extras will help in covering up the wrinkles.

There have been so many 'specials' of the VE since it was released. Also almost all VE's have had reduced prices since early on as well. I wonder if anyone has actually ever purchased a base spec version with no extras at a non discounted price?
