Default Some drawings my mate has done. Monaro & ford single spinner

So my good friend is abit of a car nutter & likes drawing, he's got a 59 two door fairlane, an xm hardtop & an xm sedan.

One if his all time favourite cars is the monaro, he drew this last year (it was his first drawing he has done for a couple of years & thinks he could've done better.

Here is a customised single spinner, the view is meant to be taken from looking out of a car window. he's been working on it for a couple of weeks before and after work (he works over 60hrs a week so is usually half asleep while doing it)
Still needs to finish the details on the front wheel & do the shadow under the car.

Dunno about you guys but I think they're amazing.

They are some amazing drawing right there!! Tell him to keep up the good work.. Has he got any more drawing you could show? I'd like to show them to my youngest brother to inspire him some more as he has learnt to draw some nice cars on paper also..
Nothing likenwhat u have shown but maybe he will try and learn to use a similar technique

Absolutely amazing! The amount of detail and how he creates the illusion of reflection is crazy good!

Those are brilliant! Reflections in the Monaro almost make it look chrome.
Captured it very well.

I love the second one better! That's a great 'point of view' scene! Fantastic work! I want to see the second finished!

Great work indeed and you can see the development in the style between the two images.

Cheers

Here's a photocopy of another one he did, Her drew it as a birthday gift for his friends fathers birthday. (It's of his customline race car)

ARTIST: Matt Brown qld

These are three that were done by another friend with acrylics, she won a prize at this years greazefest with a different piece.
ARTIST: Drea Morsby qld.

(Peregrine falcon) this piece was donated by drea & raffled off for a
Fund raiser for cancer research.

The red FALCON with the big headlights dangling looks good

The pencil sketches are fantastic especially the view looking out the window over to the SLEDGE get him to finish the wheel off mate

I saw this thread the other day but didnt get a chance to have a good look.
Awesome stuff to your mate. Bit of talent there.
Also good taste in cars too, any chance you can post any pics of his cars. Love the old hardtops.
