Wonder if the op realises that fpv cars have always been built at ford.... Didn't fpv just do the final fit up of the fpv stuff?

As I understand, Ford built the engines for them, and FPV fitted them. They also fitted all the unique body parts, suspension, and badges.

I thought it was the other way round?

Fpv built them, then ford fitted them? Lol either way shows how backwards it was, half building a car in one place then shipping it away to be finished elsewhere.

Should be better under one roof. I would prefer that FPV become a footnote, like SVT. So there is only FPV stickers where you can't see them. Like "Team FPV", and the cars are once again called. Ford Falcon GT.

I don't think it matters where they are built. FPV's have FPV parts and falcons have falcon parts. Doesn't really matter where they are a screwed together they are still different.

Wish it was that simple....What about all the engineering, technical and racing expertise that's gone with Prodrive's exit and what about the high calibre staff that have been let go ?
