Default What is this?

Rather than waste the seller's time, wondering if someone here knows what this is?

Hey,

That looks like a car alarm siren, not sure but it may be the Tickford/Ford alarm system.

nice one.

yep, alarm seems to be a factory feature.......... ive never seen them before?

is it a good or bad thing.......ie: do they have a history of playing up & needing to be ripped out like older WRX systems for example?

The sirens themselves do have a few. Especially if they have had water in them.
Also the battery in them can go flat.

I haven't had any issues with the factory alarm on the lane I recently purchased if that counts..!

If you ever did decide to take it out you would probably sell it for a few dollars, they are the same as the BA/FPV ones but since it has Tickford logo on it some blokes would shell out good coin for it as the later ones dont.
