Default Voiding warranty

Apart from voiding my warranty on my FG XR6 exhaust with a full exhaust system with extractors and high flow cat and cat back system will this affect other areas of my warranty Eg engine/driveline etc. Or have you done this and found out the hard way.

when voiding warranty, if something happens in the line of the connection for the offending product then that wont be covered, so with an exhaust you cant get done for repairs to diff, tranny, suspension or electricial under warranty but engine will be voided

Default Re: Voiding warranty

I've heard of people getting drive lines void due to a catback exhaust because of 'excess load on the engine' (read: greater power output than factory... even though it's like 10 - 20hp). Personally I've found once you build a relationship with a dealer they are pretty good.

This old chestnut....

All depends on the attitude of your Dealer and, more importantly, your relationship with your Dealer.
