Default BA Falcon XT or SX Territory TX

Both going for roughly the same $

Opinions please on which would be the better daily driver and perhaps also some opinion on whether to go down the LPG path if we end up choosing the ba xt

I have 2 falcon sedans so I would choose the territory option. That way you are not restricted to the bitumen.

Territory is a better drive. Falcon is quicker and probably a little more bullet proof.

If the Territory is the same price as the Falcon it must have done more work.

IMHO the Falcons are better put together than the Territories.

Cool Re: BA Falcon XT or SX Territory TX

Ive got a BA Ghia and its great to drive
also I just had it put on vacuum injected gas
the wife has a Territory Ghia AWD and its great to drive
its going in for the injected gas to be fitted in November
between the two the Territory is for us the better to get in and out of
as we are both in our sixties the extra height helps
but once your inside there is no difference
so work out your priorities sedan or wagon
its that simple

I have both and If you have kids definitely territory, heaps of storage areas, drink holders. Negative would be ball joints issue (SX)

Territory is slightly newer by a few years so has clocked up the similar kms quicker. Not that 150k is going to bother either of them. My pair ( see pic to left ) both have over 220k and are going fine.

As Dash has said above the Territory is the more enjoyable drive (much better steering feel) but it really comes down to whether you'd benefit from the extra room and functionality of the Territory at the expense of being a bit thirstier and perhaps requiring more maintenance or a sedan meets all your needs.

Both are great cars for a daily - you can't lose.

Also, is it worth forking out the few extra k to get the AWD territory over the RWD territory?

Territory is the better option

I don't see any need for AWD if your not doing soft road or snow

If it was a choice of same year, price and general condition, me personally I'd go the Territory every time if we were choosing for a daily driver.
