Ive got the majority of the setup I need to change over to au2 brakes, the only thing I don't have is the rotors.
My question is, is there a physical difference between series one and series two rotor's? Pretty much bought new rotors and pads a few months ago before I decide to change to au2 twin piston setup.

Completely different set up
New rotors slide on over studs and are held in place by wheel

That's how they are with series one as well ,besides how they go on as I don't see any difference and see no reason why I cant just reuse the rotors that are already on it?.

They are different specs from DBA Cat
Series 1 Dia 287mm Thickness 24mm Height 70mm Min thickness 21mm Series 2 Dia 287 mm Thickness 28mm Height 65mm Min thickness 25.6mm |

You'll need the new discs but don't forget the matching S2 callipers either. But if you're going to go that far anyway, bypass the S2 discs and callipers and go straight to BA discs and callipers. They are a direct bolt on for AU S2, they are bigger again and are a marked improvement over AU brakes.

I have just completed the change from Series 1 to BA brakes. I also, had a set of series 2 brakes sitting here and I can tell for 100% sure Series 1 is not compatible with anything else! Not a massive visual difference between BA and series 2/3 but. By the specs the discs are about 11mm? larger in diameter so I think that speaks for itself. Hence I now have BA brakes on the front
 They are awesome compared with the AU 1's....

Any recommendations for both supplier and price for a set of BA front slotted rotors and callipers for and AU2?

Mate, just go to a wreckers and pick up a pair of callipers. As for discs, some will tell you to spend up a bit for DBA or RDA etc but I bought a set of no name slotted discs on ebay and they have not been touched or needed looking at since fitting 80k ago, but I bought soft pads that don't chew up the disc. Sintered and metallic pads will eat the discs no matter what brand you buy but it depends on what you are looking for. If you want max braking then expect to chew discs. If, like me you want improved brakes over original and only need the occasional big stop then a softer pad will suffice. With my Fairlane, the new setup is still 2 car lengths better @ 110kph than original with the soft pads and that's good enough for me but I'm sure I could improve that another car length or even 2 with better pads ....but at the cost of the discs being chewed up.

Thanks for the reply's, I got most of the brake upgrade from a series2 au for free off a mate who was throwing them out.
