I actually think that frontal shot is the worse angle of the new Mustang. Any angle getting the rear is gold though.
Its going to be interesting to see how the BOSS and GT350 pan out, that Saleen effort is bordering rice (havent used that in ages!) for me.

I must admit I like the front on previous model stang as it actually looks like one
The new one has nicer tail lights. But I recon its only a matter of time before the mustang doesn't look like one any more |

That looks like the standard mustang to me. This is a pic that was posted on Facebook by Road & Track today. Could be an over the top CGI:
Edit: apologies the GIF didn't morph into the Saleen for me on Tapatalk (iPad) so I only saw the std Mustang pic. I'll leave this pic up in case the same happens to others.

I think the earlier Mustang looks a heap tougher than the latest version.

So, using that reasoning, the Falcon should have stopped at the XA then?

Not really, but one retro model followed by cleansheet design on next model would be great, say a Retro XY. FG was a mistake. BA was a good looking car but it didn't need a version 2.0 for the next model. XF->EA, ED-EF, and EL->BA were all amazing makeovers. The yanks kept that retro mustang theme going after 10 years and its starting to look tired. Not a ferrari, porsche or bmw fan for that reason too

Ummm, you forgot that EL went to AU (then AUII, AUIII) before the AU series morphed into the BA-BFs.
And EA was not a makeover of an XF, it was a new body altogether, along with EB/ED one of the best IMHO. Retro Mustang, meh. I think Mustangs peaked in the 60's

That would make a nice GT350. I don't expect to see the Mach1 or BOSS models return

i doubt Ford will bring the GT350 to Australia. some are already whining about the linelock
that Saleen, to me, is taking a Mustang and turning it into a Camaro |
