I had a look today at it .... but had my boy. So no test drive unfortunately.
Its consistent with distance wear though for a work vehicle. If it is still there tomorrow ... I'll do a good going over it and drive it at least to listen for the usual noises.

I drove pretty good for its km.

under the front .... the top control arm bushes had new bolts through them.
was quiet from the from the rear. Even with the bald rear tyres ... so no bearing/diff noises.
Some rough back roads we had to go through ... and the front was tight ... some rough edges didn't unsettle it or make much noise (I think my FG has more rattles/thuds).

Honest ute for what it is .... just that taillight with broken mounts .... just replace it really.

Will be interested to have a better look over it when you get it.
Oh ... there's a bunch on leaves under the PCM cover ... must have been parked under trees a bit.

I think Frank is going to use it as a daily ... to save the Sprint from stupid ppl on Sydney's roads.

It's a rare one this ute .... first i have seen an XR6 EGAS with Luxury Pack and Tech pack.
So has leather/colour ICC/6-stacker/IPOD with cable/Bluetooth.

Passenger seat and door trim look like it's never been touched ... same with the carpet on that side.

Drive like it had a replacement/new LPG converter in it. no surging, very smooth and no hesitations at all. It's got some kays on it ... but its a good-un for a daily i reckon.

Oh ... and the fuel gauge works ... especially being an EGAS ... that's a rare thing as well.

Thanks roddy! It'll be my new daily and abit of a project to get it cleaned up and make it tidy, using the sprint everyday has me on edge too much driving it in sydneys peak hour with the amount of idiots on the roads here.

Cant wait to pick it up

Kinda helps having had EGAS utes before and knowing their pitfalls and what needs to be done. And how that drive ... you would know yourself as well.

We're a good bunch on here .... have met a a number of good members on here. Best forum I've ever been involved with.
