They will wait a month or 2 to pass the savings on, then jack them up within a week when it inevitably goes back up.

Filled up the tank a few nights ago even though it was only 1/3 empty at 128.7 for diesel thinking this corona rubbish will drive prices up only for diesel to be 125.9 today.

Oh well.

One location independent has E10 for under $1.

points for correct answer.
The article seems to think that petrol prices are controlled by market forces.

Franco... At the rate 98 is falling, you better start washing the cruising wagon for a drive up to the ‘Bidgee. ;) Apparently the parmas are half decent by hotel tucker standards.

Be careful because if it swings my way, if you measured hunger on a scale of 1 to 10, an Italian 5 is an Anglo 26

Can't be worse than the feed I had today at an industrial estate cafe, I haven't had a tradie feed for a few years and this set a new bloody low thats for sure, worst burger and chips I've had in my life, it'll look better tomorrow morning.

Sounds like you were unlucky there. When I'm on a job in an industrial estate, I look foward to the local tuck shop feed, it's usually as good as, if not better than, most home cooked food.
Different places have different menus, later in the day is not good, 11am-1.30pm is the best time as everything is fresh. After 2.30- roulette.

As for e10, wouldn't even sniff it.

What, you went to the local Maccas? Haven't heard them called an 'industrial estate cafe' before. Oh, and btw, the call them 'fries' not 'chips'.

I’m starting to worry - the indies are duking it out, but still barely under $1.30 for generic 98. Might have to shout you Polish gnocchi at Borsch Vodka and Tears.

Wait until Iran or Saudi Arabia has another crap and it'll be $1.95/L again overnight

Super quick to jump 40c/L overnight but very slow to drop? Hmm

Sydney prices for E10 has now jumped to $1.63 in most places today

So much for going in a downward fashion.

I got it for $1.09 not that long ago.

Just checked the app, several stations around my area (Milperra / Revesby) still have E10 below $1.10.

The BP I got diesel from this morning is still at $1.159 per litre.

Eastern side of Melbourne has a few 1.59cpl dotted around, but in Laverton North BP has gone down from 1.079 to 1.059 . Geelong’s floor seems to be 1.15 from what I’ve seen.

I suppose it's the virus LOL. Any excuse will do, especially over east.

Yesterday I had to get 95 for the bmw, but I just checked fuelwatch WA for regular today and tomorrow and it's $1.13. Bare in mind that with fuelwatch over here the price cycle is fixed to Monday being the cheapest and wed-thurs being the most expensive. So on it's normal most expensive days right now in the west it's locked in at $1.13. That's low.

That's really suprising to me (usually $1.20-$1.25 on it's cheapest days, and $1.40-1.50 on wed-thurs). I think this is as good as it's going to get as the AU$ is tanking badly.
