Default Snappys Question

I managed to spread the jaws of a Teng combination spanner the other day. Grabbed a Blue-Point from the workshop drawer and it did the job without failing in this way.

…So I need to replace my spanner (just the damaged one) with something similar to the Blue-Point. It’s half the price of a Snap-On, $40-ish vs about $85 per their Australian web store.

Q1: Are the truck prices the same?
Q2: If so, any recommendations for a franchisee in Greater Sydney?

Lot of love for the big white trucks, I see.

The truck prices should be the same as online pricing unless you have an account with a franchisee and have paid for all of his kids college degrees in advance.....

Thanks for the pricing info, still hoping to hear if anyone has a personal recommendation.

Just what I needed.

By coincidence the Snappys truck was up and down the street as I worked on the injector bolt holes. Wasn’t going to pay for the primo article, this is more than good enough.
If anyone wants a slightly spread-jawed but otherwise well-loved 17mm Teng combi spanner, they can have it for postage.

I have spread the jaws of open enders in the past (probably cheaper brands)put them under the press on an angle and pressed the tips back to where they should be.
